This is one of the sunflowers I grew at my sculpture park. Many years later I painted a giant sunflower. I still own this painting unlike most of my older works.
I’ve been inspired by flowers since my first visit to the @the_rhs Chelsea Flower Show 30 years ago. Many of the sculptures in my sculpture park were based on tulips.
