My inspiration is drawn from the natural world. I am essentially an artist who depicts the natural world, working in the era of climate change. My inspiration is the innate beauty of life and the sea.

Before moving to Deal in May, I visited the town many times over the last 30 years, repeated visits are an important part of my process. 
I need to take in a landscape, fill my eyes, before the vision becomes a reality on the canvas.
