Watercolours
Since Lockdown everything about life seems sweeter, more dramatic and yet more basic.
Simple pleasures give such joy. Seeing loved ones, talking with friends, walking on the beach, breathing in fresh air.
Over the past two and a half years I have really developed my watercolour paintings. Beginning with en plien air sketches on the beach to fully realised large paintings. The works on the beach have to be done quickly and are therefore quite abstract. When back in the studio I develop them from memory.
All watercolours are shipped unframed.
