Finding your inspiration is one of the key elements in creativity. People who don't paint don't understand that it's not only the hours spent painting that go into the making of a work of art. It's also the hours, sometimes days finding the thing that is the inspiration.

Some days the sun has the lightest of touch on the water as it hovers on the horizon. The Pier shimmers dark against the light and the pebbles shine.
All is well the sky seems to be saying. These are the days that inspire me to paint.
